About Carolina Training Center

Carolina Training Center is owned and operated by Chet Roberts in the Statesville, North Carolina area. Chet has 30 years of experience training dogs and individuals in tracking, obedience, personal protection, police work, conditioning training, and schutzhund.

Chet is training director of the newly formed Brushy Mountain Working Dog Club located in Stony Point, North Carolina. Brushy Mountain is a USA affiliated schutzhund club. As a member of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America for 30 years, Chet has actively trained with Gene England since 1984 and with Debbie Zappia since 2003. Chet has been a trial helper at numerous events. Chet was a member of the 1st place World Championship Team in 1997 representing the United Schutzhund Clubs of America. He also was a member of the Working Dog Association team for the WUSV in 2000. Chet accomplished this showing two dogs in a three year period of time. Chet has titled numerous dogs for clients as well as helping handlers with specific exercises and areas of concern with their dogs.

Carolina Training Center is located in rural Iredell county and offers lush tracking fields as well as a lighted regulation schutzhund training field and a conformation training area at our facility.
